Ms. Batool is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Educational Management and Leadership from The University of Sydney. She has over ten years of experience in education and development sector. Before proceeding for her studies she was  associated with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) , a non-profit organization that aims to provide quality education to the less privileged as a Team Leader -Inspection unit in their Quality Assurance Department . Prior to that she held the position of Assistant Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation at TCF where her responsibilities   include developing benchmarks and quality indicators for school evaluation, designing monitoring tools and developing evaluation policy for TCF schools.

Initially she started her career with the Beaconhouse School System as a Science teacher and coordinator.  Later she joined Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan as Program Associate for Quality Advancement through Institutional Development, a project of USAID which focused the sustainability development of low cost private school of Karachi. She facilitated QuAID partner schools in formulating School Development Plans. 

Ms. Batool was also associated with Science Association of Pakistan (SAP) as a volunteer. SAP’s main focus is to improve science education in Pakistan She was as an Executive member of SAP Committee and was involved in planning, organizing and conducting training sessions. One of her most interesting experience with SAP was organizing Science Olympiad for students. She also contributed as co-editor for SAP Newsletter.

Ms. Batool has master degrees in Biochemistry from University of Karachi and a certificate in Program and Project Management and Administration from MDF Training and Consultancy, Ede-The Netherlands.
