Ms. Nabeel is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Forman Christian College. She is a Fulbright scholar who holds an MSc. Economics from LUMS and an MPA from Brown University, USA. She has taught various courses ranging from Development and Growth Economics, Development Policy, Economics and Financial Analysis of Development Projects, International Political Economy, Public Economics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics and Issues in Pakistan Economy. She has also been engaged with the Mahbub-ul-Haq Human Development Centre at LUMS since 2011 responsible for conducting background research and drafting chapters for the annual ‘Human Development in South Asia’. Her research interests include transboundary water resource management in South Asia, urbanization and human development, comparative education policy, and social protection in Pakistan. She intends to pursue the use hydroeconomic models for estimating the marginal benefits of transboundary water resource cooperation in the Indus Basin as the subject matter of her Ph.D thesis in the future.
