Profile Details

He completed his B.E. (Civil) from N.E.D. University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi in 1983. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in “Hydraulic Engineering” from the International Institute of Hydraulic Engineering (IHE), Delft, The Netherlands. He did a refresher course on “Integrated River Basin and Floodplain Management for Sustainable Development.” The course was organized by Institute of Hydraulic Engineering (I.H.E.), Delfi, Netherlands at International Research and Training Centre on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), Beijing, China from 10-01-2000 to 21-01-2000.

He is currently employed as an Additional Commissioner for Indus Waters (BPS-20) in the office of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters, Ministry of Water and Power, Government of Pakistan since 30th October, 1989.

His previous employments include: Research Officer (BPS-17) in Irrigation and Power Department, Government of Sindh from July 1983 to August 1987,  Junior Engineer (BPS-17) in Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) from September 1988 to October 1989 and Assistant Chief (BPS-18) in Water Resources Section, Planning and Development Division, Government of Pakistan from August 1987 to September 1988.
