Mr. Kashif is a university graduate and  member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan and Pakistan Institute of public and Finance Accountants. He is working as the Manager, Specialist Advisory Services at Grant Thornton Pakistan. He has vast experience in the Energy sector and has worked on mega energy projects in Pakistan. He aspires to utilize his potential and expertise for combating climate change challenges of Pakistan by “greening” the energy sector of Pakistan.


Mr. Kashif has successfully completed more than 80 consultancy assignments for clients from various sectors. He has accomplished financial modelling of seven power projects - value exceeding US$ 987 million and capacity exceeding 1,017MW.


Mr. Kashif has extensive experience in Oil & Gas and Power sector at strategic and policy level and has worked on 26 assignments ranging from preparation of feasibilities and business plans to conducting due diligence for the acquisition of running projects for different clients. He worked as the member of financial advisory team working for the arrangement of finances from Overseas Private Investments Corporation (OPIC) for LNG terminal and coordinated with OPIC teams and consultants conducting due diligence of the business plan for the project.

Besides this, he is also playing his role for improving governance of the public and private sector organizations by being a Member of the Standing Committees of “Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry” on Governance and Consumer Rights.
