Brigadier Dr. Hasan graduated from Dow Medical College Karachi in 1980. He was Commissioned in Pak Army and has served in various capacities all over Pakistan. In his initial service he served in field medical units and was also in charge of Army Health Units and as an instructor in the Community Medicine at Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute after having done his post graduation in the subject in 1990. He also commanded CMH Muzaffarabad and CMH Peshawar during his stay in the Army. He has had the opportunity to head the Medical Directorate Branches of both PAF and Pakistan Army which deal with policy making and implementation of preventive/community medicine actions.  Dr. Hasan has supervised more than a dozen dissertations and has also served as an examiner for various institutions. He has more than fifteen publications in recognized journals to his credit. He retired from the Army in 2010 as Vice Principal, Army Medical College.


Having served in the Army for almost 30 years, Mr. Maqsood is now Professor of Community Medicine and Vice Principal at Islamic International Medical College, Rawalpindi.
