Rehena KHILJI is Coordinator GIZ-RAHA in Balochistan, which is one of the Donor Programme to support NGOs projects in Refugee Affected and Hosting Areas. Rehana worked as In-Charge of Community Services Unit with UNHCR Sub Office Quetta for one year, where apart from leading the Unit, she led the Protection Cluster as well as GBV Sub Cluster and Sub Thematic Working Group in Balochistan. She also worked for two years as Team Leader of HOPE Pakistan, working in the areas of Climate Change, Livelihood Security, Gender Equality and Humanitarian Assistance in Balochistan Province. She presented HOPE-Pak Climate & Gender Justice tribunal's findings at UNFCC NGO events in COP15 as well as GCP mGlobal Assemble 2010 and at UN CSW 54th session March 2010. She worked for five years with Concern Worldwide as Manager Capacity Building and Program Support & played vital role in taking forward strategic issues including gender equality, socail protection, HIV & AIDS, Disaster Risk Reduction, Advocacy and Human Rights Programming. She worked as Director Gender and Development with Strengthening Participatory Organizations (SPO) in Islamabad. SPO works on the capacity building of community based NGOs in Pakistan. Her responsibilities include designing gender sensitive programmes, developing gender policy and strategy for the organization, heading the Women Emancipation Programme of SPO, integrating gender into the programming of SPO as mainstream, advocating gender at different levels of organization and with other stakeholders, designing, monitoring the gender programme in the organization and supporting the agenda of Women's development for the country plan of action and at different international platforms. She has also worked on several irrigation and agriculture projects for these organizations in Northern Baluchistan. She also served as focal point for issues relating to the environment in her organization.

Rehana was selected as Global Leader for Tomorrow by World Economic Forum in 2001. She is also NGO Advisory Council member of World Agriculture Forum, St. Louis USA. In 1995, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock awarded R. Khilji a gold medal for "Best Woman of Agriculture in Pakistan". She is also awarded as best women in agriculture and rural development by the prime-ministers programme in March 1999. She has also been selected by the Common Wealth Foundation for an NGO study on poverty eradication in Uganda and Kenya. Rehana is a volunteer member on the National Steering Committee of Global Environment facility of UNDP and is on the Board of Directors of the Micro-Finance bank (Khushali Bank) of Pakistan.

She is a former member on the Advisory Board for Women & development, with the Federal ministry of Women's development. She participated in World Forum of Mayors on Cities and Desertification in Germany (June 99), as a technical expert from Pakistan.

R. Khilji has a master's degree in political science from Baluchistan University, and a bachelor's in Biology from the University Arkansas (USA.), along with an associate degree in agronomy from State University of New York at Alfred.
