Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan is Commercial Counsellor of Pakistan in France. Prior to this assignment, he worked in the economic departments of the provincial governments of Punjab and North West Frontier Province in Pakistan. His varied experience includes stints as the chief executive of district management overseeing the full range of public services in a territorial jurisdiction. Jehanzeb practiced public economic management, project planning and social development. He designed and led public sector and governance reform programmes supported by multilateral agencies.

Jehanzeb experimented with participatory approaches for rural uplift and improvement of public services. He successfully implemented small infrastructure projects through community involvement and innovative financing. He regularly speaks at training institutions and is a resource for International Union for Conservation of Nature, UNDP and UNICEF. He was member of President's Task Force on Human Development, is a volunteer for the National Commission for Human Development and remained associated with the follow up of Beijing Conference on Women.

Born in Peshawar, Jehanzeb is a medical graduate, an alumnus of Pakistan's Civil Services Academy, a MBA (Public Service) from the University of Birmingham, U.K and a LEAD Fellow. He is trained in conflict resolution and team building. His academic concentration is public private partnerships. He is married and has two children.
